A Day at the Farmer’s Market in Greece

Share

The “Λαϊκή/Laiki” (farmer’s market) is woven into Greek family life – it’s a common place for households to do their fruit and vegetables’ shopping. It’s where “Yiayia” might go shopping for apples to make a delicious “μηλόπιτα/milopita” (apple-pie) for her grandkids.
