Kids love Christmas, and in Greece, Christmas and New Year is a special time with many unique traditions! We give children a taste of the holiday season in Greece with our Christmas collection featuring Greek carols (Κάλαντα), the vasilopita, the ornamental Greek Christmas ship (Το καραβάκι), and much more.
One of the most important Christmas traditions in Greece is kids singing carols. Ours include the traditional Christmas Eve Carols (Τα Κάλαντα των Χριστουγέννων – 'καλήν ημέραν άρχοντες') sung by the Saint Demetrios Astoria School choir, and other carols including Silent Night (Άγια Νύχτα), Jingle Bells (Τρίγωνα Κάλαντα), and Snow on the Belfry (Χιόνια στο Καμπαναριό).

Every term, our Live Online Classes teachers take our students on a virtual field trip to different parts of Greece to teach them some of the most beautiful and fascinating aspects of Greece's culture, history, monuments, and landscapes. The virtual field trip to Plaka is an exciting adventure combining science fiction, mythology, and actual footage of the most historic district of Athens! The kids will accompany our heroes Talos and Rea – who come from the distant future - in search of an ancient Greek lyre that was lost from the Acropolis Museum in 3023! See here. The field trip is available exclusively to our Live Online Classes students and will become part of a themed collection of quizzes and activities available to all platform subscribers.
The kids are anxious to go to the pier early to get a good place to see their cousin dive for the Holy cross in our new and colorful video - Epiphany on the island. Kids learn about the Epiphany with our beautiful story about a family going to watch the festivities and a games and activities collection for kids featuring games, quizzes, and other activities.

Ellinopoula Birds is our take on the well - known game 'flappy bird' with the aim of teaching children to count from 1 to 100 in Greek. The game offers an enjoyable experience as kids guide a bird through a beautiful landscape full of obstacles. In this way, learning numbers in Greek becomes a joyful adventure.
Our Clean Monday collection is dedicated to one of the most well-known Greek customs. It features a beautiful animated story to guide kids through the customs of Clean Monday and lots of fun activities, about the flying of the kits, family gatherings at the countryside, and the delicacies of Clean Monday including seafood and lagana bread.
The Greek Revolution of 1821 offers countless stories of courage, perseverance, and the fight for freedom. The values portrayed in these events over 200 years ago can inspire children today and benefit their future development. Our '25th of March' collection features many activities, including quizzes, printables, puzzles, and songs about the Greek national flag, the Greek national anthem, the Battle Song of Rigas, and stories about the 'Secret School' and the legendary naval commander Bouboulina.
