Kids love Christmas, and in Greece, Christmas and New Year is a special time with many unique traditions! We give kids a taste of the holiday season in Greece with our Christmas collection featuring Greek carols (Κάλαντα), the vasilopita, the ornamental Greek Christmas boat (Το καραβάκι), and much more.
Our students can look forward to another epic adventure to the stars this term! We'll prepare in class with lots of fun activities for our second exciting field trip in space. We'll hop onboard our spaceship, the Argo, which resembles an ancient Greek trireme, and leave our solar system to discover more distant realms. We'll learn about galaxies and black holes and see Greek mythology spread across the stars at the spectacular Perseus constellation!
Introducing the Pantheon of Students! Get ready to ignite your child&'s passion for learning Greek with our exciting new gamification feature, the Pantheon of Students! Now, every time your child engages with the Ellinopoula platform, they'll earn points that propel them towards the top of Mount Olympus. The top 12 Ellinopoula students worldwide win a spot at the top of Mount Olympus each month, inspiring other Ellinopoula students to follow them. With a fresh Pantheon every month, there's always a new chance to make it to the top!
Learning Greek starts with the Greek alphabet! So, we created “Keyboard Monster”, a new exciting game designed for kids to learn the Greek alphabet, fast! In Keyboard Monster, kids race against time to choose the correct Greek letter. The faster and more accurate they are, the safer they are from the Keyboard Monster. But watch out! One wrong move, and the monster gets closer.
After the first, very popular round of coaching sessions, Stamatis is back with new, creative workouts to get Ellinopoula students energized. We designed the workout sessions to boost kid's energy with fast-paced activities that combine exercise with Greek language practice. It's learning and playing at its best!
The kids are anxious to go to the pier early to get a good place to see their cousin dive for the Holy cross in our new and colorful video - Epiphany on the island. Kids learn about the Epiphany with our beautiful story about a family going to watch the festivities and a games and activities collection for kids featuring games, quizzes, and other activities.
Greeks worldwide take part in cutting the 'Vasilopita' every New Year. It is a beautiful Greek tradition that we teach the kids! In January, we cut our own 'Vasilopita' (New Year pie) in our Live Online Classes for our students to celebrate this unique custom together! See here.
Our Clean Monday collection is dedicated to one of the most well-known Greek customs. It features a beautiful animated story to guide kids through the customs of Clean Monday and lots of fun activities, about flying kites, family gatherings at the countryside, and the delicacies of Clean Monday including seafood and delicious lagana bread.
A group of kids go on a beautiful excursion to a Greek village and learn about the Three Hierarchs from the chapel's priest in the animated story we made about the patrons of education. The 'Three Hierarchs' story is part of a collection including listening, quizzes, word matching, and other activities for kids to learn about their role and great contribution to Greek education.
The Greek Revolution of 1821 offers countless stories of courage, perseverance, and the fight for freedom. The values portrayed in these events over 200 years ago can inspire children today and benefit their future development. Our '25th of March' collection features many activities, including quizzes, printables, puzzles, and songs about the Greek national flag, the Greek national anthem, the Battle Song of Rigas, and stories about the 'Secret School' and the legendary naval commander Bouboulina.
