School’s out and summer’s in—let the fun begin! While there’s no more homework, it’s the perfect time to keep kids connected to their Greek. That’s why we created the Summer Program—a fun weekly live online experience led by our experienced Greek language teachers. The program is packed with exciting language activities, interactive games, arts and crafts, mythology, sports, music, traveling through Greece, and fun surprises!
Learning Greek is fun with Ellinopoula!
Each week, we’ll go on a virtual summer field trip to a new destination—like the Acropolis, Aegina, and Ancient Olympia—and discover Greek landmarks, culture, and traditions!
This summer is all about weekly surprises and hands-on fun with energizing workouts, and crafting traditional boats, colorful flowers, and Greek flags!
We'll learn about August Celebrations in Greece (Dekapentavgoustos), including the panygyri in Ikaria, snakes in Kefalonia, horses in Siatista, & the Panagia church in Tinos!
Greek Mythology adds magic to the summer! Through our Petros and Mythology series and a quest to find the Shield of Athena, kids will meet gods, heroes, and mythical creatures!
What’s “ice cream” in Greek? How do you ask for your favorite fruit? Kids will learn how to ask essential summer questions while practicing grammar, pronunciation, and conversation skills—so they’ll be a step ahead when school starts in September!
