TIPS TO LEARN GREEK – Video calls in Greek!

When making a Zoom or Skype call with a friend or family member, your child can use phrases, or words he or she learned on Ellinopoula.com– for example, “I like σοκολάτα.” It’s best to prepare in advance of the call and don’t be afraid to make mistakes.

One way of motivating your child to speak is asking for their “help” because you want to use a word in Greek – this way kids can get over the anxiety of making a mistake as it would be you “taking the fall!” Remember to keep it fun and to encourage your child to make some progress for the next call: “Μου αρέσει η σοκολάτα.”
