At Ellinopoula, we believe learning Greek should be a thrilling adventure for kids! That’s why we created the Surprise of the Week, a favorite among our Live Online Classes students.
Every week, we spin the wheel of fortune and discover a brand-new, exciting activity! From sports challenges to science experiments, to fun stories, there’s always something new to explore. The anticipation builds as the kids look forward to each week’s surprise!
For instance, when the wheel lands on Greek Mythology, the class might engage in a game-based learning activity focused on a mythological figure, such as Heracles. These interactive activities not only introduce students to Greek mythology but also reinforce Greek in a fun and engaging way.
Another recent adventure we went on, was a treasure hunt to find the missing Shield of Athena! To find it, our Live Online Classes students had to team up to navigate an ancient mythological map full of Greek mythological monsters, they had to answer riddles posed by the mighty Sphinx, and cracking the code of a wooden treasure chest hidden… on the moon!
